Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns,
and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. Colossians 3:16
We have a small but growing church choir. Our current members, Kaitlyn, Denise, Kermit, Barb, Lori, Sandra, and Kim join with our pianist, Pat, and our director, Laurie, to make a joyful noise each Sunday from September
to June. We practice in the sanctuary on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 P.M. and right before church in the choir room each Sunday at 10:45 A.M.
Anyone who would like to join us for a week or eternity is certainly welcome!
We sing some traditional hymns, some contemporary praise songs, and lots of music in between. (We have a lot of fun, too!) We usually do special music for Christmas and Easter and encourage soloists and small groups to sing for services in the summer. We sing for our Lord, not for perfection. You’ll often hear Laurie exclaim, “Sing it like you mean it!” in a rehearsal. That’s what it’s all about. If you’re considering joining and just aren’t sure, remember the words of the Sesame Street gang: “Don’t worry if you’re not good enough for anyone else to hear. Just sing, sing a song!”
If you have any questions, talk to Laurie; she’ll gladly and warmly share our music with you!
Thanks to our volunteer singers for the summer: Barbara Murphy, Darnell and Lois Allen, Lori Evans,
Laurie Groves, Pat Knott, and Sara Cook.

While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist. Psalms 146:2
